In response to NBC News Special Correspondent Tom Brokaw’s announcement that he has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare blood cancer of malignant
cells found in the bone marrow, leading physician Dr. James Berenson is encouraged that Mr. Brokaw is receiving treatment and that he was brave enough to bring attention to this disease.
